Fresh out of business school from @mcgillu, @swoooooods became a senior investment analyst at a big equity mutual fund in Canada. Basically, she picked stocks for a living.
After figuring out the corporate life wasn’t for her and after taking an inspiring trip to Africa with an accountant friend, Silvi decided to start a personal finance education business because “there really wasn’t anything in the market for people who wanted to learn about money, yet it’s such a big part of our lives”.
Fast-forward to today after much success with Wild One Wealth, and Mrs. Woods now works with one of the largest online investing platforms in Canada, @wealthsimple, doing what she does best.
