Episode Summary

If you’re in a New Year’s slump or having major trouble managing your time in quarantine, this episode is for you.

Today, @anastasiabarbuzzi introduces you to @karmakbrown : award-winning journalist and author who you might’ve seen on @thesocialctv this week discussing the topic of her new book, The 4% Fix 🔧.

At 28-years-old, Karma “fell backwards” into her career as a print journalist and author after dreaming about becoming “the Katie Couric of the North” for most of her life. On her last day of class she was diagnosed with cancer, which led her to reevaluate her path forward.

Six national bestselling books later, and here we are. Anastasia spoke with Karma last summer before the release of her first non-fiction work and since its launch date in December 2020, it seems she’s turned everyone onto the idea of her 5:00 a.m. routine.

As someone who struggles with feeling like there aren’t enough hours in a day on a regular basis, Anastasia champions Karma's unrestrictive framework for its manageability and you'll learn about how it relates to money, personal finance and investment in this episode.
