Gather round Crypto Witches! We’re giving out our favorite platforms + free resources to help you get educated, stay organized, and invest in crypto like a boss. Find the 5 free crypto resources you NEED to know below! 🔥
1. COIN MARKET CAP
Coin Market Cap is the go-to (free!) crypto resource for checking crypto prices, finding project whitepapers, confirming circulating, max, and total supplies, and viewing project volume and market caps in real-time. 📈
Coin Market Cap also features historical data, holder statistics, wallets, social media accounts, project news feeds, exchanges available to trade, information about the team behind the project and more. You can also see what other coins + tokens other holders are watching based on the projects you are interested in. 🔮
2. COINPARTICLE
If you’re a visual learner, Coinparticle is the platform for you. Coinparticle shows a coin or tokens volume increase + decrease in the market — compared to other projects — by 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year, or longer timeframes. 🙌 (There’s also the option to exclude Bitcoin from view so you can focus on alts only.)
In addition to Coinparticle’s visual display, they also display cryptocurrency prices by market cap in a standardized view (if that’s your thing). 🪙
3. HODL
Our absolute favorite, can’t-live-without tool for tracking our portfolio — we loveeeee our HODL app. 💎 There’s a free version with the occasional ad but if you’re someone who checks their crypto portfolio multiple times a day, HODL also offers an ad-free option that we definitely recommend — available for $2.99 / month.
Whether you keep your crypto in multiple wallets, on a centralized exchange, or are staking on a DeFi platform, HODL makes it easy to track each of your individual purchases, daily, yearly, and all-time profits and losses (in your native currency and also by %), sales and trades. It’s a necessity. 😉
4. Etherscan
Gas fees can be tricky, especially when you’re just starting out in the land of DeFi and NFTs. ⛽️ Etherscan is a gas-tracking website that makes it easier for those using the Ethereum blockchain for transactions. Just log onto their website, (always free, obvi), and see what the low, average, and high ETH gas rates are in real-time. See what ETH addresses and wallets are ranking by ‘gas guzzler’, find chats and statistics, and estimate the cost of your transfer or transaction.
5. Zapper
There’s nothing we love more in life than a well organized (and free AF) dashboard solution that keeps our crypto investments all in one place. Zapper is the dashboard for everything you do DeFi — staking, lending, farming, NFT purchases, your wallet balance. From Uniswap to your Metamask, find all your DeFi items in one place and trade, stake, and lend directly on the dashboard. (Say goodbye tracking a million logins and passwords for your DeFi investments.)
